Udasi : Poem

Udasi is a free metre poem consisting three quatrains of varied rhyme scheme.

ہوں شام سے میں  روٹھا  ہوا  آج  پھر سے
گھر میں ہوں  بے گھر سا  جانے  کب  سے
ہوں کارواں  سے  چُھوٹا  ہوا  آج  پھر سے
نہیں سُلایا ہے مجھے آج  ماں نے کب  سے

جانے  فضاوٴں  میں یہ اجنبی  مہک کیو ہے

خوشبو بُلاتا ہوں  پاس  تیری  نام سے  میں

مجھ سے وہ  چِھن کے جدا  ہوئی  یوں ہے

آگ دِل کی  بُجھاتا ہُوں  صرف جام سے میں

تھکی ہاری  یادوں  میں اب  رفتار بھی نہیں

  کچھ   الساتی  تو  کچھ  رہتی   خاموش  ہیں

وہ بے وفا ساتھ  چلنے  کو  تیار  بھی  نہیں

کہاں  لیلا   تھی  اور  کہا  وہ  فراموش  ہیں

English Translation :
sulky again today I am from evening
Feeling homeless despite being at home
Again lost from Caravan today
My Mother has not sent me to sleep from a long time

What the strange smell is surrounding me
I bring your fragrance just by calling your name
And she has has been snatched from me
to extinguish the fire in my heart I use to take alcohal

The tiresome nostalgia is getting lazy
few memories are sluggish and few silent
that(lover) faithless is not ready to accompany me 
where that layla  and where you deceitful
